Provide technical design, consulting, and review of internally and externally created engineering work products; Assist with feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate various construction methods, and assist with the technical aspects for construction and engineering tasks; Perform related administrative tasks including documentation of project activities, office administration, expense reports, purchase orders, and invoicing support; Cost allocation and control, estimating, proposal preparation, risk assessment programs and techniques; Assist in selecting constructible routes including route analysis, crossing selection and design, alignment sheet creation, HDD calculations and design, class location documentation, hydraulic analysis and modeling; Ability to understand construction plans and create redline drawings of completed construction; Provide design guidance and technical verification of on and off shore construction, including review of project requirements and technical specifications; Support micro-siting of onshore export cable routes; Provide permitting support as needed; Participate in design reviews, work streams, due diligence assessments and other cross-discipline emergent issues and developments; Ensure all lessons learned regarding delivery are captured and shared across the different project teams. Degree from a four year college or university in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; PMP Certification is preferred; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, or ability to obtain one; Five (5) years experience in all aspects of civil engineering design and construction; Three (3) years experience in energy generation, storage and electric transmission projects, pipeline projects, oil/gas extraction, management in design and construction of Horizontal Directional Drills (HDDs); Three (3) years experience designing and construction of highways, roads and other transportation corridors; Three (3) years experience in airport construction/expansion, port facilities construction/expansion, wind and solar farms (renewable energy sources); oil/gas extraction; Strong understanding of the power sector, hydraulics, and engineering standards; Proficient in Synergi Simulator a plus; Experience in port, airport, solar and design and construction; Geotechnical background including a fundamental knowledge of principles of geotechnical or geostructural engineering, soil and rock mechanics, earthquake engineering, and groundwater hydrology as they apply to design and construction; Ability to travel to project sites, as needed; A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current valid driver’s license; Follow safe operating instructions within compliance of manufacturer’s specifications and project scope; Attend all safety meetings and trainings as required; Provide technical design, consulting, and review of internally and externally created engineering work products; Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Primarvera P6, Microsoft Project and able to learn client specific software programs when needed; Smartphone must have capability to accept emails; Military Service (Honorable Discharge) a plus.
