Historical Resource Management

Must have significant experience in identifying historic zones, properties and landmarks both on and off shore; Have the knowledge and resources to coordinate historical management techniques using on-line and traditional research methods, and prepare all National Historic Landmark and state level archaeological and historical documentation; Ability and experience covering a wide range of historical property disciplines including all phases of archaeological surveys; Degree from an accredited four year college or university; Minimum of three (3) years experience in performing all aspects of historical resource management; Experience with National Register, HABS, and HAER regulations; 4(f) preparation; Work with bridge documentation, transportation corridor related surveys, utility corridor and site related surveys, and historic landscape surveys; Must be familiar with all types of historic above or below ground resources, both on and off shore; Partnering with laboratory facilities and related services which include artifact conservation, lithic usewear analysis, and historic and prehistoric artifact identification and analysis; Advise preservation planning with impact mitigation measures; Satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid driver’s license; Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks; Oral and written communication skills; Self-starting individual who follows directions and procedures, adheres to work schedules and can focus on details; Interpersonal (people) skills; Be flexible and able to work effectively in a team environment and consistently maintain a professional and respectful demeanor/ attitude with co-workers, clients, vendors, and outside contacts and agencies; Possess analytical and reconciliation skills necessary for problem solving and decision making; Able to successfully perform multiple tasks and abbreviated deadlines; Must be able to understand financial impacts of decisions and courses of action; Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Primarvera P6, Microsoft Project and able to learn client specific software programs when needed; Smartphone must have capability to accept emails; Military Service (Honorable Discharge) a plus.
